True Star Foundation (TSF) is a non-profit organization that provides a creative outlet in the form of literary and professional development programs for predominately minority male and female youth, ages 11- 20, in the metropolitan Chicago area. True Star was created to provide teens with employment, literary skills, and professional development as well as give teens a way to let their voices be heard and prepare them to be responsible adults leading productive lives. TSF strives to be a leader in youth programming by providing youth with paid apprenticeships through after-school and summer programs that encourage creating opportunities for themselves and their communities.
