STEAM Studio

STEAM Studio is a pop-up makerspace, STEAM Studio challenges youth to use a variety of design and production tools to create artifacts and earn digital badges under the theme of STEAM--Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Following this week-long intensive, youth will showcase their creations at the Cultural Center on July 25th and at a runway show within the CCOL Showcase. Youth will also document the event via digital media with content distributed to other Hive Learning Networks beyond Chicago. In addition to creating opportunities within the Chicago City of Learning(http://chicagocityoflearning.org/), the STEAM Studio will highlight the youth engagement and organizational collaboration within the Hive Chicago Learning Network (http://www.hivechicago.org/).
