Spanish Language and Culture Through Cinema 558801R Regular World Language, Career Ed, Elective This course is designed to enhance oral and written skills in Spanish while enhancing the varied Hispanic cultures through cinema. Grammar exercises will be combined with oral discussion of cultural topics and writing compositions. There will be six film showings throughout the year while incorporating other components such as storytelling, theater, and poetry. Students will also use prior knowledge in Spanish with practicing the use of grammar, word structure and oral presentations. Parental consent is required to enrol in this class due to the movie ratings (R) and content.
